Practitioner resources based on PiMA research
The findings from PiMA form the basis of two resources for radio and development actors.
'Radioactive: The Story of Interactive Radio in Africa' has been developed by Africa's Voices, in partnership with The Internews Center for Innovation & Learning, the University of Nairobi and the University of Zambia. It provides an accessible starting point for radio stations to create interactive programmes.
The Interactive Radio toolkit, created by Internews in collaboration with the PiMA research team has been launched to help radio hosts learn how to be a conduit for community voices, and boost their own ratings and success as a result.
