Selma James presented on her latest contribution to Ralph Ibbott’s Ujamaa: the hidden story of Tanzania’s socialist villages. Selma provides a provocative interpretation of Julius Nyerere’s political project and the insight it lends on contemporary global issues. Selma has authored many books across her career, including The Power of Women and the Subversion of the Community.
