Digital Verification Corps Summit on June 26-29th

last modified Jun 05, 2018 03:10 PM
We are delighted to co-host the 2018 Digital Verification Corps Summit on June 26-29th in collaboration with Amnesty International and with support from Open Society Foundations.

Amnesty has launched a global network of digital volunteers known as the Digital Verification Corps (DVC). With the help of digital verification tools and training from Amnesty, the DVCs work to advance human rights by fact-checking and verifying footage from sites of atrocity crime investigations for use by Amnesty researchers and others working in this space.

The summit will bring together leaders and team members of the Digital Verification Corps at the universities of Berkeley, Cambridge, Essex, Pretoria and Toronto with practitioner experts working at the cutting edge of digital verification in human rights and related fields.
