CGHR’s impact flows from our commitment to critical and collaborative praxis research, where scholarship, policy and practice meet to forge advances in justice, well-being and citizen voice.
To date, our impact work has been focused both on designing technologies from the grassroots to support pluralism, solidarity and social change, as well as on thinking with policymakers and practitioners about how to understand and act on some of the most urgent issues at the intersection of media and technology, on the one hand, and human rights and democracy, on the other.
