About the Role
The Executive Director will lead Declarations, a human rights podcast from the University of Cambridge, providing strategic, editorial, and operational oversight. This role will shape the podcast’s vision, amplify diverse global voices, and expand its reach as a leading platform for accessible, impactful human rights storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the strategic and editorial vision for Declarations
  • Oversee podcast production, content development, and quality
  • Build and manage partnerships across academia, media, and the human rights sector
  • Manage day-to-day operations and support a high-performing team

Skills & Experience

  • Strategic and creative leadership with strong vision-setting ability
  • Excellent editorial judgment and storytelling skills (audio/media experience preferred)
  • Deep understanding of human rights and global issues
  • Strong communication and partnership-building capabilities
  • Experience in audience growth, digital strategy, or media platforms
  • Ability to lead collaboratively in an academic and mission-driven environment
