On Wednesday, 26 February 2025 we had the great pleasure of welcoming Fred Abrahams remotely for our third Practitioner Series talk.
Fred Abrahams worked for nearly 30 years at Human Rights Watch, first as a researcher and then as a senior manager. He helped start the Emergencies division, now called the Crisis, Conflict and Arms division, and has worked in places such as Albania, Kosovo, Sri Lanka, Syria, Libya, and Israel/Palestine. Most recently he supervised HRW’s divisions that cover Crisis and Conflict, Arms and Technology, including the Digital Investigations Lab, and managed HRW’s internal research training.
He gave the audience very honest insights into this work and patiently answered all the questions from the students. Thank you very much for being part of our Practitioner Series 2025.
