Centre of Governance & Human Rights (CGHR)

Research seminars and public events

The Centre of Governance and Human Rights organises a range of research seminars and public events throughout the year, tied to our emerging research priorities. Staying true to our commitment to a collaborative approach, many seminars are run in conjunction with partners within Cambridge and outside.

The CGHR Research Group is a forum for graduate students and early-career researchers from any department and disciplinary background researching issues of governance and human rights in the global, regional, and national contexts.

In our Practitioner Series we are partnering with expert speakers from key organisations to delve into the gritty realities of what working in fields like human rights and international development really involves.
