Join us for a talk with Lauren J. Sheperd – Professor of International Relations at Sydney University – and Maria Martin de Almagro – a Marie Curie Fellow at POLIS and a College Research Associate at Emmanuel. It will discuss Lauren’s new book “Gender, UN Peacebuilding, and the Politics of Space”, engaging with the work that gender is doing conceptually to organise the way that peacebuilding is defined, enacted, and resourced, as well as exploring the ways in which women, gender, and civil society are constructed in UN peacebuilding discourse.
