Anusha joined CGHR in October 2022. She is a human rights advocate from Malaysia, where she worked predominantly on civil and political rights violations. At the University of Cambridge, Anusha read the LLM (2019) and the MPhil in Politics and International Studies (2022), focusing on ethnic armed conflicts and the dynamics of political resistance. Before joining CGHR, Anusha interned at the UN OHCHR Myanmar Country Team monitoring arrests and resistance movements in post 2021-coup Myanmar.
