Ed Parker, Co-Coordinator of the CGHR Student Group, and Tomos Davies, Coordinator of Amnesty International’s Digital Verification Corps, came first in their respective cohorts.
Ed graduated with a Distinction in the MPhil in Politics and International Studies, achieving exceptional results for his dissertation, ‘US Domestic Legitimation of the NATO Intervention in Kosovo (1999) and Humanitarian Discourse’.
Tomos graduated with a BA in History and Modern Languages, gaining a First Class with Distinction. He was also nominated for the Winifred Georgina Holgate-Pollard Memorial Award after ranking first in his cohort and earning the best performance prize at HML Part II.
What’s next
In September, Ed will be taking up a position as a teacher of History and Politics at Dulwich College, while Tomos will continue his work with Amnesty International as a Research Associate.
