CGHR is delighted to be hosting Gina Romero, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and of Association, on Friday 20th March, 12-2pm.
This will be a small informal gathering of researchers and students working on issues to do with her mandate, including: protest/peaceful assembly, civil disobedience, surveillance technology, academic freedom, less lethal weapons and torture free trade.

This will be an informal event over a sandwich lunch (provided), where will hear from Gina on key issues and concerns around protest/assembly, and then short reflections from Cambridge researchers on common topics of interest, with discussion throughout.
