Mexican newspapers developed two models in response to competition from electronic media, the spot news model, which prioritises efficiency, and the reportage model, which prioritises expertise and autonomy.
The CGHR has run a pilot project on the impact that ICTs have had on governance in Africa. This paper presents background that the project aims to address.
